Zvjezdan completed his primary and secondary music education in the class of Excellent advisor Professor Ivanka Kordic. Since then, Zvjezdan has been studying at the Royal College of Music (RCM) in London as a William Mealings Scholar with the support of the Cosmina and Douglas Liversidge Scholarships. After graduating as a First-Class student of Bachelor of Music (with Hons), Zvjezdan continues his studies for a Master's of Music Performance at the RCM under the guidance of Professors Ian Jones and Diana Ketler. He won over 80 first and special awards at national and international competitions. Among international awards we can point some 1st prizes: “Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte” (Czech Republic, 2017), “Merci maestro”, (Brussels, Belgium, 2017); “Ars nova” (Trieste, Italy, 2017); “Isidor Bajic”, (Novi Sad, Serbia, 2018); “EPTA” (Osijek, Croatia, 2019), “Watford” (UK, 2023.). As the youngest competitor at the renowned XII. Darmstadt International Chopin Piano Competition, Germany, 2022, he reached the final stage and was one of the prize winners.

Solo recitals in Chopin's birthplace, Zelazowa Wola, which Zvjezdan held in 2025, were a special award along with winning the 2nd prize in the "Chopin" professional category at the 33rd International Piano Competition in Rome (2024). He won the Hopkinson Gold Medal and Cyril Smith Prize at the annual Chappell Medal piano competition at the Royal College of Music in 2026. As the Jurica Murai Grand Prix winner (Croatia, 2026), he will perform with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. Representing his college (RCM), Zvjezdan won the intercollegiate piano competition organized by the Liszt Society (UK, London, 2026). He has been invited to renowned music festivals and concerts such as "Vienna Young Pianists" in Austria, "Next Generation" in Liechtenstein, “Cap Ferret Music Festival” in France, “Split Summer” in Croatia, Mörfelder Musikfestival in Germany and “St. Mary's Perivale” in London, UK.
