Julia Blachuta (b. 2001, Kraków) is a Polish violinist of the younger generation, whose performances combine musical sensitivity with a distinctive and individual voice. She graduated with distinction from the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and with First Class Honours from the Royal College of Music in London, where she is currently pursuing her Master's degree. Since 2025, she has also been a doctoral student at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków. A laureate of numerous national and international competitions, Julia has taken part in masterclasses at the Kronberg Academy with Miriam Fried and Donald Weilerstein. Her awards and scholarships include the RPS Julius Isserlis Scholarship, the HMD Meyer Violin Prize, the Polish Ministry of Culture's Mloda Polska Scholarship, and the City of Kraków Scholarship. As co-founder of the Astatine Piano Trio (2021–2024), she performed at venues including Wigmore Hall and was featured on BBC Radio 3. She has also had the opportunity to work privately with pianist and musician Alfred Brendel. Alongside her classical career, Julia is a member of the alternative-pop band LOR, reflecting her broad musical interests and versatility as an artist.
Russian pianist Alexander Doronin began his studies at the Royal College of Music in London in 2021 as an ABRSM Scholar. He graduated in 2025 with a First Class Bachelor of Music degree and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree under the guidance of Professor Dmitri Alexeev (piano). From 2015 to 2021, Alexander studied at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music. Alexander is London Symphony Orchestra Scholar, he is the Eileen Rowe Musical Trust award holder, and is also supported by the Drake Calleja Trust and Countess of Munster. He has achieved remarkable success in piano competitions, including First Prize at the Moscow Piano Open International Competition (2019), Third Prize at European Piano Competition in Bremen, Germany (2024), Second Prize at the International Piano Competition of Lyon (2024), Second Prize at the Vladimir Krainev Competition for Young Pianists (2019). He has consistently demonstrated extraordinary talent and dedication in his musical pursuits. He has also participated in major international competitions such as the Enescu Piano Competition (2024) and the Van Cliburn Piano Competition (2025). He has performed as a soloist with the Russian National Orchestra, Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra and performed recitals in the UK, Austria, Poland, China, Vietnam, Netherlands, Switzerland and Russia.
