Vusala Babayeva is an award-winning Azerbaijani pianist, currently pursuing an Artist Diploma in Piano Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, under the guidance of Alexandra Dariescu and Ronan O´Hora. She is the recipient of the Sophie Satin Rachmaninov Award, which supports her studies at Guildhall. Her excellence in performance has been recognized with numerous prizes at international competitions in various countries, including Germany, Italy , Estonia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Turkey, Georgia, and etc. She holds a prestigious Presidential Scholarship of Azerbaijan, and her name has been included in “Golden book” of Young Talents of Azerbaijan. She is a Talent Unlimited UK Artist and has been honored with the “Youth Prize” by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan. Vusala Babayeva has been selected as London Transport Museum Young Artist for 2025.

Vusala completed her Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music, where she studied with Dinara Klinton in 2024. Her academic journey began at the Baku Music Academy, where she earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees with Distinction. Vusala's performances have taken her to various venues and festivals. She has given solo recitals at renowned London venues such as London Transport Museum, Sinfonia Smith Square, St James's Piccadilly, Milton Court Concert Hall, Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, Embassy of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, London School of Economics and etc. She regularly performs as a soloist with the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra and Baku Chamber Orchestra at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall. She has performed in 2 nd International Cambridge Piano Festival and Academy, RCM Keyboard Festival in London , International Gabala Music Festival, International Uzeyir Hajibeyli Music Festival and etc.

Vusala Babayeva has released her debut album “Üzeyir Hajibeyli: Musical Legacy on Piano” in December of 2025. This landmark recording is the first piano album entirely dedicated to the great Azerbaijani composer U.Hajibeyli , the creator of the first-opera in throughout East, and features world-premiere recordings. The album was supported by the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora.
