The internationally award-winning Danish/Polish pianist Filip Michalak has established himself as one of the leading young pianists in Scandinavia. Filip is an active soloist and chamber musician who has garnered recognition in Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. In addition to his career as a pianist, he has been the artistic director of the "Södertälje Chamber Music Festival" in Sweden since 2019 and founded his own festival, the "Aalborg Chamber Music Festival," in his hometown in 2024. He has given masterclasses for young pianists both nationally and internationally and was recently a jury member for the piano competition “Pianists of the North.” In 2025 he published his debut CD "BEYOND" featuring works by Brahms, Chopin, and Franck. It has gained international recognition, and was featured in Sweden's biggest classical music magazine "OPUS".
