Shlomy Dobrinsky (violin) attended the prestigious Gnessin Music School in Moscow, before emigrating to Israel to continue his studies. He became the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Scholar at the Royal College of Music in London , and later completed a Masters in Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Whilst a student, Shlomy was prizewinner at various international violin competitions, including the Lipizer International Competition in Italy, U NISA Competition in Pretoria and the Philharmonia/MMSF Concerto Award, which won him an invitation to debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra as a soloist. Shlomy has enjoyed a versatile career as a Soloist, Chamber Musician and an Orchestral player performing at major venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, St. John's Smith Square, St. Martin-in-the- Fields, Fairfield Halls, Auditorium di Trieste, Noga Theatre in Tel Aviv, Windsor Castle , the Sheldonian Theatre and many others. Shlomy was a member of the First Violins of the Philharmonia Orchestra for 11 years and currently guest leads the Metropol Orkest (Netherlands), Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Orion Orchestra and the London Concert Orchestra. He recently collaborated with Hiromi, Eydis Evensen and Hugh Jackman for various ensemble performances.
Since winning first prize at the Birmingham International Piano Competition, Maiko Mori has built an international career as a distinguished soloist and chamber musician. She has appeared at prestigious venues such as the Purcell Room in London, West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge, Kolarac in Belgrade, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Her performances have been broadcast on Radio France and BBC Radio 3. She has also been invited to major festivals, including the Cheltenham Festival (UK), the International Spring Orchestra Festival (Malta), and the Lidköping Music Festival (Sweden). She made her UK concerto debut with the RCM Symphony Orchestra under Vasily Petrenko and has since performed with orchestras internationally. Recent highlights include Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 at Kyoto Concert Hall under Tetsuro Ban, and Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 2 at St Cyprian's in London with Levon Parikian. A versatile musician, Maiko performs a wide range of concertos and solo works while maintaining a strong passion for chamber music and 20th-century repertoire, particularly jazz/classical fusion. Alongside performing, she teaches at the University of Chichester, has served as a jury member of the Montecatini International Piano Competition, and is an Artist for the Tokyo International Piano Association (TIPA).
