Junyan Chen(b.2000) is a Chinese pianist renowned for her virtuoso technique and expressive warmth. With a prestigious academic background, including both first class Honours BMus and MA degrees at the Royal Academy of Music with full scholarship, she is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma with Prof. Joanna Macgregor CBE. Junyan's impressive performances at renowned venues worldwide showcase her versatility in both classical and contemporary music, solo and collaboration works. Her commitment to musical excellence and curiosity make her a prominent figure in the music world. She is one of 24 pianists selected for the second round of the Leeds International Competition to be held in September, and this recital will feature some of her competition repertoire.
