The only cellist to reach the Strings Category Final of BBC Young Musician 2020, Ellen Baumring-Gledhill won Junior Guildhall's Lutine Prize the same year. Recent 2023 concerto performances include the Lalo Cello Concerto with the Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra and the Welwyn Garden City Orchestra. She performed the Elgar Cello Concerto with the Glyndebourne Tour Orchestra conducted by Ben Glassberg in 2023 and with the Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra and North London Sinfonia the previous year. A Scholar in her fourth year at the Royal Academy of Music, Ellen studies with Felix Schmidt. She has been awarded several prizes for performance including the Sir John Barbirolli Memorial Prize, the Royal Academy of Music's Historical Women's Composer Prize, the Wolfe Wolfinsohn String Quartet Prize as well as the Katie Thomas Memorial Prize and Rhoda Butt Award for achievement and contribution to the Royal Academy of Music. She previously studied with her uncle Dr Oliver Gledhill at Junior Guildhall as D'Addario Strings Cello Scholar and was awarded the Principal's Prize in her final year. Ellen has participated in masterclasses with Marc Coppey, Gary Hoffman, Maria Kliegel, Mischa Maisky, Phillipe Muller, Miklós Perenyi and in the Curtis Institute's Young Artists Summer Program.

Named ‘2020 Performing Artist of the Year' by South China Morning Post, 20-year-old Sherri Lun majored in piano and viola as a junior student of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She is currently studying with Prof. Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music with a full scholarship supported by the Academy and the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme. Sherri is a prize-winner in multiple international competitions including the Robert Schumann Competition (Du¨sseldorf), Zhuhai Mozart, ASEAN Chopin, Singapore, Steinway & Sons Youth, and a semi-finalist in the Aarhus International Piano Competition. In Hong Kong, she is a winner of numerous local competitions, and her performance has been broadcasted by the Radio Television Hong Kong. Most recently, she finished a 4-recital tour in Malaysia, and released her debut CD, ‘Romantic Reveries', under KNS Cal, featuring works of Schumann and Franck. Upcoming season highlights include recitals in London, Spain, Italy, Hong Kong, and performing Chopin Concerto No. 2 with the Isla String Quartet in Drapers' Hall.
