Prize winner of the Prague Spring, Rostropovich and Casals competitions, Sébastien Van Kuijk has given concerts throughout Europe as well as various countries around the world. The many prestigious venues in which he has performed include Rudolfinum in Prague, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Teatro Real de Madrid, Casals Hall and Bunka-Kaykan Hall in Tokyo and Concertgebow Hall in Amsterdam. He has collaborated with composers such as Henri Dutilleux, György Kurtág, Thierry Escaich and Nicolas Bacri, who dedicated to him a Sinfonia Concertante for cello and orchestra. He performs regularly in chamber music with musicians such as Gary Hoffman, the Ebène Quartet, Augustin Dumay, Dana Ciocarlie, Cédric Tiberghien, Alexandre Tharaud, Bertrand Chamayou, Renaud Capuçon, Svetlin Roussev and Paul Meyer. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras including the Orchestre des Concerts Lamoureux, Orchestre Symphonique de la Garde Républicaine, the Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonie Orchestra, the Janacek Philharmonie Orchestra, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has recorded with pianist Dana Ciocarlie the complete Mendelssohn works for cello and piano with the INTRADA label.
Award winning British pianist Robin Green enjoys a busy career as a performer and pedagogue. A regular at major festivals and concert halls, he performs a wide solo and chamber music repertoire from the Renaissance to ambitious contemporary repertoire including ‘Lieux Retrouvés' by Thomas Adès, Ligeti's Horn trio, Mantra by Stockhausen and Rzewski's ‘The People United Will Never Be Defeated!' His discography includes works by Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Schubert, Kurtág, Huw Watkins and Helen Grime. He has recorded for Claves, Gramola, Ty Cerdd and Prima Facie labels to critical acclaim. He has performed Bach's ‘Goldberg Variations' on the popular Netflix show ‘The Crown'. Robin is a solo piano professor and chamber music lecturer at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. The focal point of his studies was working with György Kurtág, Rainer Schmitt and Ferenc Rados. Robin has been an artistic director and guest curator of major festivals, include the Harrogate International festival and the Vale of Glamorgan festival.
