Praised for his “limitless palette of colours” and “technical mastery and authority”, Nicolas Ventura extensively played throughout Europe and the UK. His last appearances as soloist and with orchestra include such halls as the Jacqueline Du Pré Music Building in Oxford, Wigmore Hall and the Brazilian Embassy in London, Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona, Fazioli Concert Hall, Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Teatro Manzoni in Pistoia, Sölitar at Mozarteum in Salzburg, Florianka Concert Hall in Kraków and Danube Palace in Budapest among many others.

Nicolas performed and collaborated with distinguished musicians including with members of the New York Philharmonic and recently performed works by Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninov with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Chioggia, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau and the Danube Symphony Orchestra. Prize-winner of the Concours Ile-de-France, during the years Nicolas has been the recipient of many awards among which the “Sir Reginald Thatchers Prize”, “Franz Simmons Prize”, as well as the “Goetze Bequest Award” and the Diploma of the Royal Academy of Music for and outstanding performance in his final recital. In 2023, he has been awarded the Oleg Prokofiev Award by the Oleg Prokofiev Trust for his work on the composer's music.

Born in Carrara, the city of marble in Tuscany, Nicolas studied with Konstantin Bogino and Tatiana Sarkissova. He is an alumnus of the Conservatorio “Cesare Pollini" of Padua, where he graduated with the highest honours and a special mention, and the Royal Academy of Music in London, graduating with First Class. Recently, he graduated from his Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music where specialised under the guidance of Dina Parakhina. He currently studies with Roberto Prosseda, and has been inspired and had important musical influences from such artists as Boris Berman, Benedetto Lupo, Anna Malikova, Håkon Autsbo, Imogen Cooper, Dmitri Alexeev, Marios Papadopoulos, Piotr Palecny, Vanessa Latarche, Pavel Gililov and Arie Vardi.

For the 2025 season, Nicolas is excited to debut in Manchester with a solo recital at the Bridgewater Hall and at Cadogan Hall in London performing Prokofiev 3rd piano concerto with YMSO. Moreover, 2025 will see the production and publication of "Origins", his first commercial recording devoted to the piano music of Prokofiev and Bloch also containing his original piano transcription of the Schytian Suite Op.20.
