The Delphine Trio brings together three passionate young musicians from opposite ends of the globe: Australian clarinetist Magdalenna Krstevska, Dutch cellist Jobine Siekman and pianist Roelof Temmingh, hailing from South Africa. Founded in 2020 at the Royal College of Music (London), the Delphine Trio showcases a combination of individual instrumental talent, intelligent and curious music-making, and a passion for diverse repertoire. Having each completed Masters' degrees at the RCM, each member of Delphine Trio were also awarded an RCM Junior Fellowship – a rare combination. In 2024 they released their debut CD ‘Adrift' with Dutch label TRPTK, recorded in Muziekcentrum van de Omroep in the Netherlands.

The Delphine Trio were finalists in the 2022 Royal Overseas League Competition in London and have recorded at Abbey Rd Studios. They have performed at UK music festivals and series such as Buxton International Festival, UK Gustav Mahler Society, Banstead Arts Festival, the Kensington & Chelsea Music Society Concert Series and the Royal Albert Hall. They regularly perform in the Netherlands, and in 2022 were awarded the Mengelberg Fonds bursary to participate in the Apeldoorn Masterclass. They have received coaching from esteemed musicians including Colin Lawson, Charles Neidich, Dmitri Ferschtman, Richard Lester and Timothy Lines.

The Delphine Trio are avid proponents of diversity in classical music and aim to reflect this through their exploration of repertoire and concert programming. Expanding their knowledge of underrepresented works and composers, as well as new music, they have performed in numerous diversity initiatives, such as the RCM FestivALL and the Woodwind Diversity Concert.
