In less than a year since its formation, the Waldstein Quartet have become an accomplished group with notable performances. They have played at Wigmore Hall, St James's, Piccadilly and other venues in London. They have won the Barbirolli chamber music competition and were finalists at the Cavatina Intercollegiate Chamber Music competition.
They state "Playing music is what brings us together from all around the world. The joy we experience when performing can not be put into words, as wonderful feelings can hardly be expressed with organised speech. We humbly communicate to the audience what the intention of the composer is. We carefully blend those intentions with our own perceptions, including our life experiences, heritage and understanding of what music is."
