Born in London in 1994, Mathilde has received praise from The Strad for her "perfect intonation and beautiful shaping and colouring, comprehensively nailing each new stylistic and emotional universe as she went" She performs widely across Europe, perform ing as a soloist at venues in the UK such as the Royal Festival Hall, the Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, Cadogan Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. She has been invited to festivals such as Prussia Cove, Fränkische Musiktage, Musikdorf Ernen, East Neuk and in 2021 she attended the Verbier Festival Academy as one of eight violinists in the Soloist & Chamber Music programme. Mathilde was the sole British violinist to be selected for the 2019 Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition and in the same year won 3rd Prize at the Windsor Festival International String Competition. Other awards include First Prize at Sweden's Aurora Music Competition 2018 , First Prize of the String Section of the Royal Overseas League Music Competition 2017 , and the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben Musikwettbewerb. In 2018 she became a laureate of the International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition and won a place on the St John's Smith Square Young Artist Scheme, for which she gave the world premiere of a work written for her by Sally Beamish. Mathilde ' s debut CD with pianist Sam Haywood was released in 2020 and she was subsequently named Classical Music Magazine's Artist of the Month. Mathilde was awarded full scholarships to study in London with David Takeno and György Pauk and since 2017 with Professor Mi-kyung Lee at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. She has collaborated with musicians such as Anthony Marwood, Lilli Maijala, Huw Watkins, Thomas Hoppe, Ettore Causa and Avi Avital and has received additional tuition from Maxim Vengerov, Leonidas Kavakos and Pierre Amoyal.

Petr Limonov was born in Moscow in 1984 and studied at the Central Music School. After winning the First prize at the Nikolai Rubinstein piano competition in Paris (1998) he started giving concerts in Europe, Russia and Japan. He subsequently studied at the Royal Academy of Music, in Paris and at the Royal College of Music. In 2012 he became the principal conductor of the London Soloists Philarmonia orchestra. He frequently appears in UK and Europe collaborating, among others, with Nicola Benedetti, Laura van der Heijden, Jennifer Pike, Van Kujik Quartet, Leonard Elschenbroich and Liana Isakadze. He has recorded for Decca, Onyx Classics, Chandos and Champs Hill labels; the “1948” album, recorded with Laura van der Heijden, received “Edison Klassiek” award in 2018. Petr's notable appearances include La Roque d'Antheron festival (Boris Berezovsky's Carte Blanche, broadcast by radio France Musique), Wigmore Hall, iTunes Festival, Cadogan Hall, Kings Place, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Southbank Centre, the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, a recital in The Duke's Hall for HRH Prince Charles, TV appearances for BBC Proms Extra and broadcasts for BBC Radio 3 and “Culture” TV channel (Russia).
