Pianist Joon Yoon made his solo debut at age 12 in Korea, and his concerto debut at age 13 in the USA. Joon has performed in venues such as Petit Palau of Palau de la Musica Catalana, Alice Tully Hall and Paul Hall of the Lincoln Center, among others. As an avid chamber musician, he has collaborated with prestigious musicians such as current and former members of the Guarneri, Juilliard, and Ying quartets. His most recent successes at competitions include 2nd and audience prizes at the Concurso Internacional Piano Campillos in Spain, and 5th prize at the Iowa Piano Competition in the USA. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Music and The Juilliard School under full scholarship, and will continue his studies at Guildhall School in London as an Artist Diploma candidate with Ronan O'Hora. Last year he won the prestigious Guildhall School Gold Medal.
