Ran Feng was born in 1991 in China. At the age of 14, she was admitted into Kiev Lysenko musical college, and subsequently entered the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Ukraine. Later in 2013, she was awarded the master diploma with honours with full-mark distinction. She also studied at the International Piano Academyin Imola, Italy. Since then, she has been under the tutelage of Maestro Leonid Margarius, Enrico Pace and Igor Roma.

She won the third prize in the 3rd Tbilisi International Young Pianists Competition of Georgia, and won the second prize of the 16th international music competition ‘Euterpe' and the first prize and the special prize of the 5th international competition ‘Premio Crescendo' held in Florence. In March 2014 in Netherlands, she passed the international selection for the 10th Utrecht International Lizst Piano Competition; afterwards, in October, she played in the quarter final of that competition. In May 2015, she won the first prize of the 25th International Young Musician Competition ‘Città di Barletta' in Italy. In October, she was one of the six semifinalists of the 8th International FRANZ LISZT Piano Competition Weimar-Bayreuth in Germany. She is currently studying the Artist Diploma with Graham Scott at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
