Jun Lin Wu is an outstanding young Chinese pianist currently studying at the Royal College of Music. He commenced his piano studies when aged 4, and studied at the prestigious Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Since 2010, he has won a succession of first prizes in competitions, including the Youth Group at the Seattle International Piano Competition (2010), the Junior section of the Asia Youth Music Competition in Hong Kong; and at the 14th Xinghai Cup National Piano Competition for Youth, in addition to several others. He is currently on a 4 year scholarship studying with Professor Dmitri Alexeev's studio. In 2015, he had the honour to perform piano pieces for China's First Lady Ms. Liyuan Peng while she was visiting London. He won the RCM Chappell Medal, and won first prize in the “In Musica” Roma International piano competition in Italy last summer. At the end of the year, he won the “Jaques Samuel” intercollegiate piano competition in London.
