Naoko Aburaki was born in Tokyo, Japan, and studied at the Toho Gakuen in Tokyo. Since 2011 she has studied at the Anton Rubinstein international music academy in Düsseldorf with Dina Yoffe, and currently is studying in Cologne. She won 1st prize at the XVI International competition-festival "music without limits"(Lithuania) 2016,and has won awards in various other competitions, including 2nd prize in the Osaka international competition (2009), 2nd prize in the Ischia international piano competition in Italy (2013), and 4th prize in international young pianist competition in Germany (2013). She was admitted to the preliminary round of the XVI International Chopin competition in Warsaw (2010) . She has performed at the Klavier -Festival Ruhr in Germany, The 29th edition of the international festival January Music Nights in Brest Belarus, also at Wienerkonzerthaus in Vienna , recitals and with orchestras in Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Spain, Malta, and Japan.
