Winner of the Senior 2nd Prize and Senior Audience Prize of the Menuhin Competition London 2016, SongHa Choi was born in Bielefeld, Germany in 2000. After having studied at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts and pre-college course of Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, she is currently studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School, with Lutsia Ibragimova. She has won first prize in several national and international competitions and has given several recitals in Korea, Turkey and England. She gave solo performances in the 2017 World economic forum in Davos and in the US embassy in Berlin . She has also performed as a soloist with Yongin Philharmonic Orchestra, Thames Philharmonia Orchestra and Sinfonia of Cambridge. SongHa also enjoys playing chamber music and orchestral works, along with her solo playing and piano studies.
Svitlana Kosenko (piano) was born in Ukraine and studied at Kharkov University of Arts and in Germany. In 1999 she won the second prize in the International Competition of French-Polish Music in Paris.In 2001 she was awarded the first prize in the Smetana International Competition and was awarded a Special Prize for her performance at the Enescu Competition. In 2012 she won Best Pianist at the Joseph Suder Lieder Competition. Since September 2014 Svitlana has been Accompanist in Residence at the Yehudi Menuhin School.
