Pavel Timofejevsky was born in Moscow, and won a scholarship to the Purcell School , and subsequently studied at the Royal Academy of Music, from where he graduated with distinction. He has won several awards and national competitions, and performed at prestigious venues in London and across the UK , and throughout Europe, as well as in Moscow and Petersburg . He was selected to become 2011 Recommended Artist by the Making Music Young Concert Artist Awards. Recent activities include a solo performance with I Maestri Orchestra under the baton of John Landor, chamber recitals with Kyle Horch at the World Saxophone Congress, a performance at the Wigmore Hall with violinist Katya Lazareva, tours of Greece and France as a member of the Leto Ensemble. solos recitals at the Princess Alexandra Hall at the Royal Over-seas League, at St Martin-in-the-Fields and across the United Kingdom. .
