Charles Economou (piano/composer) was educated at St Paul 's School and Cambridge University, where he read mathematics. Whilst at Cambridge he was awarded an Instrumental Award, and gave many performances of solo and chamber music as a pianist, including a performance of Beethoven's Emperor piano concerto. Since leaving Cambridge , he has concentrated entirely on his musical studies, giving many solo recitals, covering a wide repertoire from Bach to Boulez, and collaborating with several distinguished singers. He is also a composer. He has had problems with his right arm over the past few months, and this recital will feature works for left hand alone.

Yoanna Prodanova (cello) was born in Bulgaria in 1992, and studied at the Montreal Conservatory. Passionate about chamber music, she regularly performs in various ensembles. She also enjoys collaborating with modern composers. Her performances have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and CBC Radio 1 Montreal. She is currently studying in the class of Louise at the Guildhall School. Yoanna has participated in several renowned festivals such as the Music Academy of the West in California, the Banff Centre in Canada and the Kronberg Festival in Germany. She has worked closely with cellist Raphael Wallfisch on several occasions and has played in masterclass for Janost Starker, Jean-Guihen Queyras and Lawrence Lesser among many others. Yoanna's studies are generously being supported by the Guildhall Trust.

Mihai Ritivoiu was born in 1989 in Bucharest, Romania, and studied there and at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama from 2012. He won 3 rd prize in the prestigious “George Enescu” International Competition in 2011. Active both as a solo performer and chamber musician, Mihai has performed in Romania, Lausane, Montepulciano, Paris and Salzburg. In December 2012, Mihai performed a solo recital in the “Ernest Ansermet” Studio in Geneva, as part of the recital series “La Tribune des Jeunes Musiciens”, recital which was broadcast live by the Swiss radio station Espace 2. Mihai's studies in London are generously supported by the Leverhulme Trust. Most recently, Mihai was awarded the Gold Medal in the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe Intercollegiate Competition, and his future engagements include recitals at St. Martin-in-the-Fields and Steinway Hall, as well as concerto performances with the Bucharest Philharmonic Orchestra and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra.
